Success Story
Royal Belgian Football Association
How the RBFA centralized its UEFA Pro Licence Coach Education on edubreak®CAMPUS
Since 2023, the Royal Belgian Football Association has used edubreak®CAMPUS to bring its UEFA Pro Licence and Sporting Director programmes together on a single, central platform, replacing scattered folders and inconsistent processes with one connected learning environment for educators, management, and participants alike.
130 Coaches Trained on One Connected Platform
Since 2023, more than 130 coaches and sporting directors have completed their education on the UEFA Pro Licence and Sporting Director programmes – bringing structure, consistency, and central oversight to processes that were previously spread across multiple systems.
The Challenge: A Missing Central Hub
Before introducing edubreak®CAMPUS, RBFA’s coach education relied on separate tools and manual processes rather than one shared system. This created several recurring challenges:
- Scattered materials: Course content was stored across various locations, such as Dropbox folders, rather than in one central place
- Limited collaboration: Participants had few structured ways to collaborate with one another during their courses
- Fragmented progress tracking: Educators found it difficult to monitor assignments and participant progress consistently
- No continuity across courses: Individual Development Plans weren’t tracked centrally, making it hard to follow participants’ development over time
- Inconsistent approaches: Different educators often used different methods and assignments, with educational content spread across multiple systems
THE RESULT
A lack of structure, consistency, and centralized follow-up for both educational content and participant development.
The Solution: One Platform for the Entire Learning Journey
RBFA rolled out edubreak®CAMPUS step by step, starting with an introductory workshop led by our team. From there, the platform was gradually introduced into the UEFA Pro Licence programme, then expanded to the Sporting Director course. Today, edubreak®CAMPUS serves as the central hub for RBFA’s coach education, and is used to:
Educators & Management:
- Store and share course content with participants
- Create, monitor, and assess assignments
- Follow up on Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
- Communicate directly with coaches and educators
Participants:
- Organize online learning sessions
- Facilitate collaboration between participants
- Encourage peer-to-peer learning and community building
- Centralize all learning materials and course-related information
The Result: A Foundation for Growing Adoption
With edubreak®CAMPUS, RBFA has moved from fragmented tools to one connected, user-friendly platform across its UEFA Pro Licence and Sporting Director programmes – bringing structure, consistency, and central oversight to processes that were previously spread across multiple systems.
The platform’s intuitive design has made adoption straightforward for both educators and participants. Looking ahead, RBFA plans to expand the use of edubreak®CAMPUS from 2027 onwards to additional programmes, including UEFA Goalkeeper A, UEFA Fitness A, TVJO Elite Pro, Masterclasses, and other educational initiatives across the federation.
