Digitalization boost
This is how the transition works
Success Story Association of German Soccer Coaches
The Association of German Soccer Coaches is the professional association of German soccer coaches with a soccer coaching license (1st to 3rd professional league) or an A, A+, or Pro license (Oberliga, Regionalliga). With over 5,300 members, it brings together almost all German soccer coaches with the three highest license levels under one roof.
The Association of German Soccer Coaches (BDFL) is responsible for the training measures required to renew these DFB coaching licenses. To fulfill this task, the BDFL organizes a large number of conferences, workshops, and other training events every year, both online and in person. It also organizes the International Coaching Congress (ITK) once a year for over 1,000 participants.
“In the summer of 2020, we began offering online training courses in addition to our established regional events and the International Trainer Congress. This expansion of the BDFL training program was very well received by our members from the outset. We have now established various digital formats that are adapted to the needs of coaches and form an integral part of our training program.”
