Success Story DMSB
edubreak® in motorsports
The DMSB (Deutscher Motorsport Bund e.V.) is the parent organization for motorsports in Germany, founded in 1997 by ADAC, AvD, DMV, and five regional motorsports associations. The DMSB works closely with the national motorsport associations and supports them in training young drivers and organizers. In this context, the DMSB Academy decided in 2012 that all 3,000 members should benefit from digital education offerings via e-learning in the future. To digitize its educational offerings, the DMSB relies on our edubreak®CAMPUS.
The way to blended learning formats at the DMSB
The challenge
- Redesign of training and continuing education offerings with a view to creating a modern educational concept and allowing for greater flexibility in terms of time
- Use of digital media not only in formal training and continuing education, but also for informal learning between courses
- Design of a blended learning scenario: holistic approach and an integrated concept that creates synergies between face-to-face and online learning
The solution
- 2013: Planning and implementation of a blended conference by Ghostthinker to introduce the new blended learning concept
- Combination of edubreak®CAMPUS as a formal training solution and edubreak®COMMUNITY as a platform for intensive and informal exchange within a group
- Individual adaptation of DMSB CAMPUS: Expansion of the examination functionalities of edubreak®CAMPUS
- 2014: Expansion of edubreak®CAMPUS (DMSB CAMPUS) to the entire training program after pilot projects in various interest and target groups
